These elegant villas are located in a privileged wind-sheltered location of the island, the Agia Sofia area. They are facing south offering breathtaking  sunset views over the sacred island of Delos, the Aegean sea and the island of Syros.

The Space

Apanema Villas consists of two detached house buildings of different size and sleep capacity and offers to guests full privacy and at the same time easy access to each other. These elegant family villas are located in a privileged wind- sheltered location of the island, the Agia Sofia area. It’s position is above the new port, only 2,8 km from the beautiful town of Mykonos and very close to the airport and the ports. Nearest supermarket and restaurants are only 2 minutes drive away. The villas are facing south offering breathtaking sunset views over the sacred island of Delos, the Aegean sea and the island of Syros.

Agia Sofia is a region built at the outskirts Mykonos Town. It is conveniently located nearby the most beautiful spots that provide visitors with a range of options for night time entertainment, dining, sightseeing and shopping, as it is just minutes from Mykonos Town. Our villas are built in a beautiful plot next to a small neighborhood of another 5 houses all bulit below or next to our premises, thus leaving a landscape of unobscured and breathtaking views over the ports with the night lit cruise ships and mykonos town. Most importantly they have a natural hill shelter against the strong winds of Cycladic weather, thus enjoying a variety of settings for a lazy sun filled daytime or a quite and relaxed dinner.

Apanema I is a refreshing, open air, newly renovated house. The ground floor consists of a comfortable living room and a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and the master bedroom with an en suite bathroom and a private terrace. On the same level is a large terrace with a circular pool and a variety of lounge areas with exquisite views over the town of Mykonos and the Aegean sea. On the lower level lay the rest of the bedrooms each one enjoying as well the breathtaking views over the sea. There are 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms, one twin bedroom with en suite bathroom and an independent guest room with an en suite bathroom optionally offered for extra guests.

The upper house, Apanema II, is connected to Apanema I by an exterior (but within the same plot) stairway. It is built in one level that features a colorful cozy living room with a dining area, a state-of-the art kitchen, a master bedroom with en suite bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds with its own bathroom and finally a single bedroom with an en suite bathroom. Last, there is an independent outter guest room with an en suite bathroom optionally offered for extra guests. Its exterior independent large terrace provides guests with a lounge area, a dining area and amazing views of the sunset.

Transportation

It is advised that the guests of the house rent a car. This will result in a much more comfortable experience as local public transportation (buses) is only in Mykonos town and is almost a 20 minute walking distance. Alternatively taxi drivers may be hard to find on a busy hour and a peak of the season day. We strongly recommend that you rent a car, or more depending on your needs. You will be able to park just outside the house 2 medium sized cars. One extra space allows for a bigger car (jeep) to park easily. In any case there will be a list with all important information (including taxi numbers) for you, handy to use.
